Shear Karma was founded by Sharla Fagan in 2011. Sharla has been in the salon industry for almost 30 yrs. She is well-versed in her expertise of hairstyling while creating excellent customer care. Her purpose is to help others with their self-love, love for others, inner strength, and giving gratitude to everything they are and experience in life. She teaches about self care and taking care of yourself inside and out comes first. She believes self-care is important in all aspects of your life.

April Kisselburg

April has been a hairstylist for over 20 years. She enjoys having great conversations with her clients and always has a smile on her face. She has an amazing shampoo massage that will provide you with the utmost relaxation while feeling revived. Her passion is to help you feel beautiful inside and out — while leaving the salon filled with joy and positive vibes.

Chrystal Higgins

Chrystal Higgins is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Master Teacher whose work is centered around helping people come back to themselves. ​ Chrystal is passionate about bringing more intention and meaning into everyday life — helping people reconnect with themselves through simple rituals, reflection, and embodied awareness. ​ Through intuitive massage and Reiki, she creates a space where you can slow down, soften, and actually feel what’s going on in your body. Her sessions aren’t structured or routine-based. They’re guided by presence, intuition, and what your body needs in the moment. Her work goes deeper than the physical body, supporting shifts on an energetic, emotional, and spiritual level. She works with the flow of the body’s energy using Reiki, allowing the session to open into whatever is ready to move, release, or come into awareness which allows the muscles and tension to relax. People in sessions often experience emotional release, energetic shifts, clarity, or a deep sense of peace and connection — like a breath of fresh air. ​ Her intention is simple: to support you in leaving your session feeling more connected to your body, your energy, and yourself.

​Sharla learned from listening to her clients that there’s a need for healing, recovery and renewal in life. Her studies and love of psychology, self-awareness, self-growth and spiritual awakening helped mold her into a glowing light as a healer. Within her own personal growth, she was able to tap into her purpose as a soul healer and coach to help people learn, grow and step into their true highest self. With decades of experience as a “hairapist,” she also became a certified Emotional Intelligence Coach, a certified Jikiden Reiki practitioner, and a certified Berkeley Psychic Institute teacher. Sharla’s gifts have an abundance of modalities to help heal the soul, conscious, and subconscious to raise the vibration of the world. ​ She has a rare ability to speak through higher self and soul to know and feel what needs to be released. She is only one in 40,000 in all the world that has these gifts and one of six that are practicing as healers to this day.
